Sustainability The Wilshire Grand Redevelopment will be a model of green design and engineering. Many sustainable design features will significantly reduce the use of electricity, natural gas and water. Committed to achieving a minimum of LEED Silver Certification, the project will feature: • Reduced energy consumption through the use of high-performance glazing and efficient lighting, air conditioning and heating systems • A 30% targeted reduction in the use of potable water through the utilization of energy efficient irrigation and water fixtures and drought-tolerant native plants in landscaped areas • The use of building materials with high recycled content |
